The Ruby Quilt Pattern - Fabric Selection
While it would be fun to do a quiltalong for every pattern, that would be a LOT of quiltalongs. What I am going to try to do instead (I'm trying it, no promises!) is make some videos for my patterns that will give you tips and help you along if you are a newer quilter.
As a trial run, I made some videos while making a sample of the Ruby Quilt Pattern using Home Town by Lori Holt. I have been wanting to make a quilt with one of her collections for a long time and it was so much fun! I still need to baste, quilt, and bind this project so I don't have photos of the finished quilt yet but I will share more soon.
In this first video, I am talking about making your fabric selections for the project. I actually posted this on YouTube about a month ago so you may have already seen it, but I hadn't finished editing the other videos in the series so I didn't post about it yet. If you aren't already following me on YouTube, that is a great way to see videos as soon as they are posted. There are videos from previous quiltalongs that are already available.
I would LOVE some feedback about whether or not these videos are helpful and what I could do to make them more helpful.

I love watching these videos. I also like all the different colors you make use to make the samples.
