The Ruby Quilt Pattern - Cutting Your Sashing and Background Fabric
This is not one of my favorite parts of the process because it can get a little repetitive. In fact, if I have a large number of background pieces to cut, I will usually cut them before my feature fabrics just to get this part out of the way.
Luckily, the Ruby Quilt Pattern involves strip piecing which really helps speed up the cutting and piecing parts of the pattern. It also really helps if you enjoy your fabrics and that pink floral is just so cute I can hardly stand it.
These are the supplies that I used in this video:
1 2/3 yds Hometown Bodell Frosting
1 1/3 yds Home Town Butterfield Tea Dye
Tomorrow we will cut our strip pieced fabric.
