The Abigail Quilt - Hole Punch Dot Version
You guys know that I love basic fabrics - they are so versatile mixing and matching with collections or random bundles but they are also fun to play with on their own. Hole Punch Dot is a new collection by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society and it is AMAZING!
When I designed the Abigail Quilt, I wanted something that would work with busier prints but that would also work with more minimal prints or solids. I love that these prints make the pattern look bold and more modern.
The prints are just a little bit more special than a solid and the colors are SO FUN. I have primarily been sewing with more muted colors lately and sewing with these felt like a celebration.
The backing is the green print - I know, I rarely use green but I actually really like this shade of green and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it in my stash.
If you would like to make a version just like the cover, the fabric guide is listed below (this is also in the pattern). It isn't available quite yet - the collection should be available in November.
I have two more versions of this quilt to share with you - both pulled completely from my stash. Head over to my shop to pick up your own copy of the Abigail Quilt.
