Sample Sale Details
Yes, it’s that time of year again—I have entirely too many quilts in my house, and they need to find new homes where they’ll be loved and used.
Each time I’ve done this, I’ve tried a different approach, but I haven’t quite found the perfect method yet. So, we’re going to try something new. Each week (until I run out of quilts), I’ll be listing some quilts in my shop. They’ll be priced at what I believe is a fair sample sale price—less than market value, but enough to cover the cost of materials and some of my time. Any quilts that don’t sell within a week will be discounted. Any remaining at the end of the sale will be donated.
Last time, I tried an auction, which had its pros and cons, so I’m aiming for a more balanced method this time. My plan is to list around 10 quilts each week. Domestic shipping will be included in the price. I’ll also offer international shipping, but those costs won’t be included in the listed price.
As before, I’ll be donating a portion of the proceeds. There are so many great charities, but I’ll be donating locally to areas where I see a lot of need. Twenty percent of the money raised will be split between our local elementary school for supplies and the high school music program.
The remainder of the funds will go towards restocking my supplies of batting, thread, background fabric, and other essentials, as well as supporting the overall running of my business so I can keep my pattern prices consistent.
When the quilts are posted, I’ll make an announcement here on the blog, on Instagram, and I’ll also send out a newsletter. So, if you’re interested in snagging a quilt, keep an eye out!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

I love all your quilts but I would have to choose only one to actually purchase and it would be nice to see all of the options before choosing. Could you post all the quilts you plan to sell up front so I know which one(s) I need most? 💗
