Project Ideas using Black Friday Sales
It's that time of year — lots of things are on sale. My patterns are on sale, fabric is on sale, it's almost overwhelming! I thought I would put together some project ideas for you using some of my patterns and some fabric that is currently available in shops.
The Sadie Quilt in Twirl
Twirl is a great basic collection and it is currently on sale at the Fat Quarter Shop. The bundle is on sale for just a little over $2 per FQ after their 20% off coupon. To make the quilt, you need:
Twirl Fat Quarter Bundle (you will use all of the colors except the white one)
3 1/4 yards Moda Bella White
2 yards of 108" Wide Speckled in Dove for the backing
5/8 yard of Twirl in Navy for the binding
The Stella Quilt in Winterglow
This pattern won't use every print in the collection and will only use a portion of some of the fat quarters, but these prints are great additions to your stash so I think you will find them useful for future projects.
Fat Quarter bundle of Winterglow
1 1/8 Yards Snowflakes in Natural
1 Yard Fauna in Honey
4 yards of Forest in Papaya for the backing
1/2 yard First Bloom in Cayenne for the binding
The Luna Quilt in Reverie
2 Yards Speckled in Succulent
3 3/4 Yards of Meander Florals in Succulent (I used a different colorway of this print for my quilt, but I didn't see that color available on sale)
1/2 Yard of Palm Leaves in Goldfish for the binding
Not interested in any of these patterns? These are some of my favorite quilt shops that are all offering sales this week (not sponsored, just love them!).
Looking for batting? The Fat Quarter Shop has their Happy Cloud Batting 20% off during their sale. I have been very happy with the quality of this batting and this is a great price.
Don't forget, all of my patterns are on 30% off through Sunday — this is the only time I offer this discount during the year so don't miss out!

Thanks for doing this!
