Pattern of the Week - the Zola Quilt
This week’s Pattern of the Week is the Zola Quilt!
Let me start out by saying that I PROMISE this is easier to make than it looks. If you've made a few quilts and your'e starting to feeling comfortable, I think this is a great project. And of course lots of fun for more experienced quilters.
The Zola Quilt is my take on an asterisk block, and the pattern includes instructions for both a fat-quarter-friendly version and a rainbow layout. I love this rainbow option because it doesn't use that many colors so you can make a rainbow quilt out of collections that you might not consider rainbow-y. Most of these mockups are going to use the rainbow layout, but I did a couple of FQ friendly ones for you too.
Whatever you use, the pattern has lots of visual movement. You can't help but look all around the quilt and take in all of those pretty colors.
