The Tessa Quilt in Solids

The Tessa Quilt in Solids

When I made my very first version of my Tessa Quilt pattern I knew I needed to make a solids version and I finally made it happen this month.

Putting this one together was so much fun. I love blues and greens and this pattern is quick and fun to put together (I promise, there isn't a single y-seam in this quilt).

Edited: I got a better photo and replaced the old one. Yay! Hopefully someday I will get proper photos of this (slightly wrinkly) quilt, but in the meantime, this is all I could manage. We are due for about a week of rain and I didn't want to wait another week to share this one!

The fabrics in this quilt are all Michael Miller Cotton Couture. Their blues and greens and blue/greens are my absolute favorite of any solid brand, in particular Mermaid and Bottle. They are SO GOOD!

Now I think I need to make this pattern again in purples, pinks, and oranges. This is actually my favorite of any pattern I have ever written (and it's also my most popular pattern). I love that it works with just about any fabric.
