The Dylan Quilt in Pure Solids

The Dylan Quilt in Pure Solids

For this version of the Dylan Quilt Pattern, I used Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids. I always love making a pattern in solids because it gives the design a chance to stand on its own, and this version really shows off the movement in the pattern.

These colors are typically more fall-ish and I did not make this quilt in the fall, but I love these colors so I'm just going to use them year round if I want to. Purple and brown are my current favorite color combo.

To make this quilt, these are the colors I used. All solids are Pure Solids from Art Gallery Fabrics.

Driftwood is just the best. I have used it a couple of other times (this Irene Quilt and this Linda Quilt) and it is the perfect brown. I think I'm going to try to find a similar paint color when we have to repaint the exterior of our house 😂

For the quilting, I did simple straight lines. Originally I was going to do a grid, but I liked the way it looked with the lines going a single direction so I changed my mind.

If you would like to make a Dylan Quilt just like this one, you can find the pattern in the shop!
