The Carly Quilt - Camellia Version
I've talked about it before, but I am a huge fan of Melody Miller's fabric collections. Her newest collection (which should be available sometime soon!) is called Camellia and I loved using it for the cover of the Carly Quilt Pattern.
This collection uses some of my favorite colors - pinks, purples, mustards, and turquoises - but it also uses my least favorite color (green!) but it uses it in a way that I actually really love. Best green ever. More green like this please.
I really like that the variety of darker/lighter value prints in this collection gives the quilt a lot of visual movement. You don't need this variety to make a beautiful quilt (just wait until you see the scrappy version!), but it gives the quilt a fun look.
