The Birdie Quilt - A New Pattern
I have been so anxious to share this new pattern with you - this is the Birdie Quilt.
Generally I get pretty excited to share new patterns. Sometimes I am excited because the pattern is precut friendly or because it uses scraps or just because I think you will like it. But I am excited to share this one because it checks so many of the pattern desirability boxes.
The pattern is available as both a PDF and paper version and has instructions for 3 sizes:
Baby Size - 40" x 40"
Lap Size - 59" x 79"
Twin Size - 79" x 99"
I haven't had a chance to make the twin size yet, but how gorgeous would that be on a twin bed?
The version on the cover of the quilt uses yardage, but I will share my jelly roll version next week and I will post my pattern testers' quilts later this week and a couple of them used jelly roll strips. The cover quilt uses a new collection by Alexia Abegg from Ruby Star Society called Warp and Weft. It will be out in the spring and it is amazing - the fabrics are woven and have the most beautiful textures and colors.
The pattern is on sale for the rest of the week - head over to the shop to pick up your copy!

- Simple-ish construction
- Fun to put together (of course!)
