Pattern of the Week - The Ella Quilt

Pattern of the Week - The Ella Quilt

This week's Pattern of the Week is the Ella Quilt! This is a block-based pattern that creates a woven effect, which makes it really fun for playing with fabric combinations. I have several woven-style patterns, but because the Ella Quilt is constructed in blocks, it makes the quilt flexible with fabric choices and makes it easy to size up or down.

The Ella Quilt is fat quarter friendly and works really well with both prints and solids. You can keep your fabrics coordinated and matchy, use a whole collection, or pull together a more scrappy combination from your stash. It is also a pretty quick quilt to put together.

If you haven't checked out the new Pattern Guides I have been adding to my website, this is a great time to take a look because I just added one for the Ella Quilt Pattern! If you are a visual person like me, the Pattern Guides make it easy to see everything about a pattern in one place.
