New Pattern - The Charlotte Quilt
Surprise! I have a new pattern for you today — meet the Charlotte Quilt Pattern.
Since I released the Betty Quilt pattern seven years ago, I have been getting requests for a jelly roll friendly version. Even after I released the Iris Quilt, I felt like there was another way to make jelly rolls work with the woven quilt idea. After lots more tinkering, I came up with the Charlotte Quilt.
This pattern can be made with fat quarters, jelly rolls, scraps, or pretty much whatever you have sitting around your sewing room.
One caveat to using the jelly roll — the lap size quilt does require slightly more than 1 standard jelly roll (you need 48 strips) but it's easy to supplement with solids like I will show you later this week.
The Charlotte Quilt has instructions for baby size all the way up to king size. Unlike most of my woven-style pattern, this quilt is based on a single block so it is a little more approachable for new quilters.
I have lots to share about this new pattern this week! You can find the paper and PDF versions of the Charlotte Quilt in my shop.
