Year in Roundup - The Patterns of 2025

This year was filled with lots of things — I made lots of quilts, we did more quiltalongs, but I actually released fewer patterns than I have for the past several years. This was intentional: I miss my old patterns and I want to sew with them!

Instead of racing from one release to the next, 2025 felt like a year to slow down a bit, revisit designs I still love, and make space for quilting just for the joy of it. Even with fewer releases, I’m really proud of the patterns that did come out this year — each one feels thoughtful, well-tested, and very “me.” Plus I re-released the Penny Quilt, which has always been a favorite and this new version has more sizes and it is now fat quarter friendly.

So today I’m rounding up all of the Kitchen Table Quilting patterns released in 2025 in one place.

2025 Quilt Pattern Releases

The Piper Quilt

A bold, modern design with simple construction that really shines with strong fabric choices; it works well with fat eighths, fat quarters, or scraps.

The Ori Quilt

A dynamic layout created with straightforward piecing, making it a fun pattern for playing with contrast using layer cakes or your stash.

The Natalie Quilt

A versatile, balanced design that adapts easily to many fabric styles and is especially great for scraps, jelly roll strips, fat eighths, or fat quarters.

The Mini Plaid-ish Quilt

A playful, modern take on plaid at a smaller scale that’s perfect for using up scraps or fat quarters.

The Penny Quilt Redesign

An updated version of a longtime favorite with expanded options, designed to be flexible and fat eighth or fat quarter friendly while still working well with planned fabric pulls.

The Sybil Quilt

A little confetti in quilt form, the Sybil Quilt Pattern is great for all kinds of precuts including fat eighths, fat quarters, layer cakes, jelly rolls, or scraps.

The Remy Quilt

A bold, modern layout with straightforward piecing that works beautifully with fat eighths, fat quarters, or scraps.

The Talia Quilt

A clean, rhythmic design that’s easy to customize and works well with fat quarters, bundles, or scraps.

Looking Ahead to 2026

I don’t know exactly what next year will bring yet, but I do know this: I’m committed to keeping quilting joyful. That probably means a mix of new designs, old favorites, and lots of scraps.

Thank you for sewing along with me this year, whether you made one quilt or ten. I’m so grateful for this community and excited to see where we go next.
