The Taylor Quilt in Animal Animal

The Taylor Quilt in Animal Animal

This past week I have had several messages and emails about the Animal Animal Taylor Quilt mockup that I put together so I wanted to share a breakdown of which fabrics that I used to help make things a little easier for you. When I make mockups, I don't always provide a full list of fabrics because time is limited, but I do try to provide them if they are requested.

When I made this mockup, I preferred the quilt with 1 fewer combination of fabrics so that is what I included in the mockup. But I do not have calculations for fabric requirements, cutting instructions, etc. to share with you for that modification (please don't be mad at me!) so I am going to give you info for making the pattern as written. I have substituted in the Fabric E and Fabric F in this version that weren't included in the original.

You can definitely make the quilt just like it was originally mocked up, but you would need to make one additional block from each of these combinations: 1 more A/B block, 1 more C/D block, 1 more E/F block, and 1 more G/H block. You would omit the Q/R blocks.

Fabric A Starry in Vivid Pink

Fabric B Capybara in Cotton Candy

Fabric C Flower Check in Goldfish

Fabric D Snail Garden in Cotton Candy

Fabric E Speckled in Goldfish

Fabric F Flower Check in Goldfish

Fabric G Snail Garden in Goldfish

Fabric H Roof Tiles in Flamingo

Fabric I Baby Goats in Pistachio

Fabric J Roof Tiles in Pistachio

Fabric K Flower Check in Vintage Blue

Fabric L Sloth in Minty

Fabric M Baby Goats in Vintage Blue

Fabric N Speckled in Turquoise

Fabric O Snail Garden in Heliotrope

Fabric P Roof Tiles in Vintage Blue

Fabric Q Baby Goats in Heliotrope

Fabric R Speckled in Flamingo

Background Mini Starry in Natural

I hope that this is helpful and that you enjoy making the quilt!

I think you meant to say don’t include fabrics E/F (second group of orange) if you want to match the first mockup. You stated to omit the Q/R blocks (color purple), which doesn’t seem to match the picture.
