The Mary Quilt in Imagined Landscapes
Imagined Landscapes collection from Cotton + Steel? I had seen it online and really liked it, but when I saw it in person I LOVED it. The blues are so pretty, they are just a little bit teal, and the pinks are pretty in a more grown up way.
I spent some time this weekend sewing it up in my Mary Quilt Pattern. Sometimes when I work with a fabric collection, I am so over it by the time I am done with the quilt that I never want to sew with that collection. But sometimes I am so in LOVE with the fabric collection that I hoard every tiny scrap. This collection falls into the latter category.
I don't normally post unfinished quilt tops, but I wanted to go ahead and get photos of this one up because Sewtopia was kind enough to put together a kit using these fabrics. It uses a fat quarter bundle of the collection, a couple of solids, and my absolute favorite basic of all time (Cotton + Steel Add it Up).
Hopefully I will get a chance to do a little basting/quilting/binding this weekend so I can share finished photos with you soon!
