Addition - A New Beginner Friendly Pattern
quilt pattern for you today - I know, there have been a lot of them lately, but I this will be the last for for a little while. This pattern is called Addition and it is 20% off for the rest of the week.
This pattern is available in baby, lap, and twin sizes and it is available as a PDF or paper pattern. The baby size quilt is especially quick - I am making one myself this week and will be posting progress shots on Instagram if you would like to follow along.
I am excited to share my pattern testers' quilts with you. It is so exciting to me to see how everyone interprets and expresses a pattern in their own way. I am so grateful to them for all of their help and hard work!

I have another new
This pattern started out with the idea that I wanted to make a quilt that was a little more masculine. I have a couple of boys myself, and not all patterns feel boy-ish enough to me. But as you will see from my pattern testers' quilts, it works just as well with florals as it does with geometrics.
You might have noticed in the title of this post that this quilt is beginner friendly - it is great for beginners! The first steps are strip pieced, which might be a new concept to beginners, but there are lots of photos and instructions and I don't think that first time quilters would find it to be too difficult. There is also a tip to help keep everything lined up that will be useful for quilters of all skill levels.

For my Addition Quilt, I used a variety of Cotton + Steel basics. Sprinkle and Add it Up are my absolute favorite basics every and I love how they look together.
